Cute French Bulldog Puppy vs. Door Stop

Meet Carlos, an inquisitive French Bulldog puppy who discovered a fascinating toy; a door stopper. I just love the surprised look on his face when he pawed the door stopper and it sprang. Cutest reaction ever!

French Bulldogs have a unique appeal. They may not be the most glamorous breed but their attributes make Frenchies one of the best companion dogs in the world today. They like to play but they prefer spending their days relaxing adorably on the sofa. With their small but muscular bodies, French Bulldogs do not need a lot of room and do very well in apartments. Frenchies have low energy levels meaning they get tired very easily. Luckily for them, they do not need a lot of exercise. However, they do need short walks to keep their weight down.

French Bulldogs are quite stubborn and training them can be a challenge. Yet they are also surprisingly sensitive and respond well to persistent training that utilizes food motivation.

If you are considering in getting this breed, it is important to know that they are prone to an assortment of back, disk and spinal diseases and disorders, most of which are related to the fact that they were selectively chosen from the dwarf examples of the bulldog breed. Find a good breeder who will show you health clearances for both the puppy’s parents. Health clearances prove that a dog has been tested for and cleared of a particular condition.
