Meet Woody. When his owner died, his family sold their house and he got left behind… living under a nearby shed for over a year hoping his owner would come back. Concerned neighbors were the ones who left him food and water while looking for someone to rescue Woody.
Finally, they called Hope for Paws – a non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to save dogs and all other animals who are suffering on the streets and in the shelters.
Woody looked very scared and refused to leave the shed but because of the rescuers’ comforting gestures, he finally decided to go with them. While in the clinic, Woody was visibly shaking. He appeared very weak and scared. But through the love and comfort of those around him, he was able to bounce back and become a happy dog again.
