by This video shows how Hope for Paws rescued two stray dogs who have been living on the streets for over a month. Getting the two dogs was tricky because they were easily spooked and ran every time someone went near them. They must have experienced really terrible things while living in the streets. But with much perseverance and a lot of patience, the rescuers were able to get the two dogs into their care and later named them Aurora and Anna.
Each year, millions of animals enter shelters and an estimate of 2.7 million dogs and cats are put down because the shelters are too full and there aren’t enough adoptive homes. Many people assume that if they adopt a dog from a shelter, there is going to be something wrong with it but this is not true at all. Many of the dogs end up there simply because their owners were irresponsible and neglectful.
