Every little Bulldog puppy has a lot to learn, including (surprisingly)… how to get up on his own. Well, what can we say – the cute French bulldog in the viral video below by dogsforobama appears to have only scratched the surface.
His ordeal? How to roll off his back as soon as possible so that he might not be branded as the “upside-down turtle” of his pack. LOL.. not that it’s actually bad to expose his belly and go side to side with legs up, but to be not able to stand on all fours again can be… well, how should we put this, annoyingly frustrating! Very endearingly funny it may seem how this puppy tries, but at least he is almost there one step at a time…. After all, you can’t beat an energetic puppy with an instinctive nose for fun with just a get-up task. He’ll eventually make it. The breed has survived to this day so we will assume that they figure it out.
Bulldogs are smart and inquisitive breeds, although their notorious adamancy might, at first, be a vexing problem. They may not recognize your leadership and treat you as their household boss during the first moments they are brought home. The first weeks of life of any bulldog puppy are a valuable period to learn all sorts of things, be it positive or negative. In this period, the dog’s experiences and degree of socialization will determine his future development. There can be just two things that can happen in the end: A behaved, obedient dog or a naughty one with an honors in undesirable behavior! 😉 Obviously, the latter is unthinkable, but the ball is always in the court of the “alpha dog” – that is you, his owner. Like any other dogs, the road of owning a bulldog will mean you have to be your best, but the rewards of loyalty and companionship from these thickset canines are certainly fulfilling.
